Logos Hope Project Manager calls on MBKS Mayor
KUCHING: Mayor of Kuching City South, Dato James Chan received a courtesy call from Nathan Le Roux, the Project Manager of Logos Hope. During the courtesy visit, Chan was briefed on the Logos Hope’s visit to Kuching.
Logos Hope will arrive in Kuching on 1 April and will be berthed at Sim Kheng Hong Port, Pending for the whole month of April and this will be the 3rd visit of the Logos Hope and as well the final visit to Kuching for the South East Asia tour.
The tour is to promote international understanding through cultural exchange programmes, community service initiatives as well as the floating book fairs. The Ship is carrying a multicultural crews and staff of around 400 volunteers and a stock of half a million books with wide range of titles and subjects for all the family. There will be also a large selection of books devoted to children.
The following is the opening hours for Logos Hope.
• Thursday, 2nd April 2015, from 1.00pm to 9.30 pm.
• Friday, 3rd April 2015, from 2.00pm to 9.30pm
• Monday - Tuesday, from 2.00pm to 9.30pm
• Wednesday - Saturday, from 10.00am-9.30pm and
• Sunday, from 1.00pm-9.30pm
Entrance fee of RM1 per person (adult) will be charged and for children under 12 years old, they will have free entry to the Logos Hope.
